Analog design environment save directory change

 Hi,

is there any way to automatically modify the state save directory of the analog design environment with a path depending from the Library name of the design from which ADE has been started?

i.e. I start ADE from schematic in Library Alibrary_name and I want the state save directory of the ADE set to ./Alibrary_name/artist_states

when i start ADE from schematic in Library Blibrary_name I want the state save directory of the ADE

set to ./Blibrary_name/artist_states

Regards,

Corrado

    Corrado,

I was going to suggest that this might be possible to use the  asimenv.startup sessInitTrigFunc cdsenv variable to specify a function to call when ADE starts up which changes the path for save state (the asimenv saveDir cdsenv var), but wouldn't it just be better to save the ADE states into cellViews in the library instead?

    Andrew.

     Many thanks for your reply.

Yes, the easy way is to save the state as a Cellview, but I need to separate schematics database from artist_states so I have to follow the other approach.
