 hi all,

iam trying to set the layers in lsw by checking the layers in layout. by this i can get only layers which layers are present in layout .

my code is

 cv=geGetWindowCellView()
leHiSetValidLayer()
leiSetAllFormValue("/cad2/DPDK_1830bd18ba_Rev2p2_01/1830bd18ba/techfile.cds" nil)
hiFormDone(lswSetValidLayerForm_0)
foreach(x cv~>layerPurposePairs~>layerName
y=cv~>layerPurposePairs~>layerPurpose
leSetLayerValid( list(x y) t )
)

 but when enter in CIW

cv~>layerPurposePairs~>layerPurpose

then CIW shows

cv~>layerPurposePairs~>layerPurpose

(nil nil nil nil nil

nil nil nil nil nil

 nil nil nil nil nil

 nil)

so please help me if it is possible to u.

    Venu,

    cv=geGetWindowCellView()
    leSetAllLayerValid(nil)
    foreach(lpp cv~>lpps
      leSetLayerValid(list(lpp~>layerName lpp~>purpose) t)
    )

    This then doesn't require any form interaction. Also you had a nested loop which didn't make sense.

    Andrew.
