IC6 spacebar bindkey mapping

I am having trouble mapping the spacebar to a function in IC6. I am using the line below to map the spacebar bindkey. The line returns t. Is the <Key>0x0020 correct?

hiSetBindKey("Layout" "<Key>0x0020" "(let () (noneVisible) (shilites) (sy9) (hiRedraw))")

    "<Key>space" is the right sequence to use. In IC615, the bindkey editor allows you just to press the key rather than having to figure out yourself the binding.
