Hi,

I need to read the co-ordinates of a polygon and stretch it in both x direction.

The polygon may be of T U or L shape. Please help me

Thanks in advance

    Thank  you Andrew

    I used leStretchFig to stretch a “U shaped” Layer. The below commands worked fine to stretch left and right edges correctly.

    leStretchFig(car(geGetSelSet()) list(-.01 0) list( nil t  nil nil nil t nil nil ) t)   ; worked for left stretch of u shape

    leStretchFig(car(geGetSelSet()) list(.01 0) list( t nil  nil nil t nil nil nil ) t)   ; worked for right stretch of u shape

    I copied the same layer and pasted by flipping sidewise and up & down.

    For above commands the results were same.

    But when it comes to an “L shaped” layer the flipped up and down layer gives different scaling.

    The command used is given below.

    leStretchFig(car(geGetSelSet()) list(.01 0) list( t   nil  nil   nil t nil ) t)

    In a polygon there will be many co-ordinates(l_freePoints as mentioned in SKILL API)

    How to control the l_freePoints correctly to obtain the correct result to stretch in x directions only ?

    Thanks

    Nisanth SS
