Can anybody say how to select objects at a particular coordinates??

hi,
thanks Quek.
I want to put via at the point where my cursor is.
So when i give this command geSelectPoint(hiGetCommandPoint() It is showing error like
hiGetWStruct:arg must be wtype.
So can you please say how to resolve this.

Please use geSelectPoint(hiGetCurrentWindow() hiGetCommandPoint()). Please refer to $CDSHOME/doc/skdfref/skdfref.pdf for more details on the cmd syntax.

Hi,
I got the point of location where i need to put via by points object from the metal layer.But i am unable to put via there by using dbcreatevia() syntax.
Can anybody say how to put via there??Is there any other option??

What version are you using? You didn't say...

The dbCreateVia and techFindViaDefByName functions only exist in IC61X.
