overlapping region

Hi,

 

   I want to write a code which will give overlap region of two metals crossing each other.Can anybody help me out for this reason?

    Rojalin,

    dbLayerAnd() or dbPointArrayAnd() (depending on whether you want it to produce a shape representing the overlapping region or just the coordinates of the overlapping region).In the case of the latter, it requires lists of points representing the input shapes.

    Thanks Andrew.Here it is showing an error like undefined function dbPointArrayAnd () in 5.1 version.

    That function was introduced in IC612, and has not been backported to IC5141. So you'll have to use dbLayerAnd instead.
