MMSIM 111 vs MMSIM 711 veriloga compilation

Hi all, I have a problem with the MMSIM 111 package. 1- I can't perform simulation with the turbo mode. 2- I have a warning with the veriloga code of my component ==> ''veriloga Diagnostics: warning exist in veriloga text of cell SET. Warning: Host inlinsa srv011 does not appear to be a cadence supported linux configuration. For more information, please run 'checkSysConf' from 'tools.lnx86/bin' in the cadence installation hierarchy." PS: Note that for the same veriloga code there is no warning with the MMSIM 711 package and also the turbo mode run correctly. anyone have an idea ? Thanks for your help, regards

My guess is that you're running on an unsupported platform.

The platform requirements for MMSIM111 are that you're using RHEL5 64bit or later (can't remember the SuSE minimum version number).

Whilst you can still run the simulation in 32bit mode, the gcc compiler that is used to do the VerilogA compilation is only included for the 64bit OS.

Previously (in order to support older, 32bit flavours of the OS) the compiler ran on 32bit OS versions. Any vaguely recent hardware should be 64 bit capable, which is why the trend has been in this direction.

uname -a should let you know if you're running 32 or 64 bit flavour of the OS.

    Regards,

    Andrew

     Thaanks you Andrew,

    Effectively, it's a matter of a plateform. i run actually on 32bit.
