Search assistant context menu customizations

Is it possible in Cadence 6.1.5 to customize the Search Assistant context menu? For example, when a search turns up a Skill function as a result, it would be nice to be able to run it (assuming it can run without arguments). Also, it seems like the tool would be even more powerful than it already is if I could get the Context sensitive Create Instance to pre-populate the Create Instance form with the library, cellName and viewName returned by the search. Likewise, it would be nice if the Library Manager menu item went to the library, cellName and viewName in the search result. The Skill Finder is pre-populated if you choose it on a Skill command that appears in the results. Why can't the others do the same? We have so many libraries and cells, this search is extremely useful. However, once I find the cell I'm looking for, I cannot even copy the cellName or library name, never mind run the Create Instance form with all the appropriate information.

I'm hoping I'm missing someting and this functionality is already there.

    Derek,

This seems a reasonable request to me - there are undoubtedly things that you might want to add as actions to any of the search category results. Whilst we might think of most of them (I had originally intended to reply to your first post saying that that worked for me, so glad it was resolved by a re-start), not all of them (so for SKILL functions, a double click brings up the finder with that function).

However, all the functions to do with the Search Assistant are private right now, and it doesn't have a public interface to extend it. You should contact customer support and this would make a good enhancement request.

    Thanks,

    Andrew.
