I used to end path/wire by just double clicking anywhere, now i need to double click at the center of the path to end it. if i want to end a path where the mouse isn't in the center, i have to hit enter/return key. single left click = mouseAddPt() enter/return key = mouseApplyorFinishPoint() could you help me get this function back, what i want is end a path where i just double click anywhere and end it. Thanks in advance.

I tried this yesterday evening (Using Gnome 2.28.2 on RHEL 6.1 (Santiago) - whilst this isn't supported for IC5141, I tend to be fairly aggressive for OS versions as this allows me to better see what does and doesn't work). Anyway,  I see the problem when I have "select windows when the mouse moves over them". Normally I use KDE so don't see the problem (even with the similar option in KDE enabled).

I did some digging and found CCR 543332 on this. The problem only occurs with IC5141 (because it is Motif-based) - in IC615 (for example) it does not occur.

There's actually a bug with RedHat on this, but it doesn't seem as if any progress has ben made. There's no plans to fix anything in IC5141 (there are no further hotfixes planned currently, and even if there were I'm not sure this is that straightforward to fix in the tool itself, since it's a window manager interaction). The RedHat bug suggests that it should happen with other window managers, but that doesn't seem to be the case from what I've tried, and given what has been reported to Cadence.

The workarounds are either to use a different bindkey than double click, or to not have the "select windows when the mouse over them" checked, or to use KDE.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
