Bindkey for Descend Read in layout

Hi,

Is there a function to descend into a layout as read-only, equivalent to schHiDescentRead()? I'd like to map a bindkey for that function, but can't find any documentation for it.

Cheers,

Tore

    Tore,

    leHiDescend(hiGetCurrentWindow() "read")

    will do what you want.

    Andrew.

     Hi Andrew,

    Thanks, that did the trick.

    Best regards,

    Tore

     By the way, do you know if is there a list of functions in Virtuoso?

     After changing jobs, I discovered that my new employer uses Cadence more or less right out of the box and I feel an urgent need to add more functions and bindkeys for the layout editor in particular, e.g. flip object (in x and y directions), relative copy and relative move.

    Cheers,

    Tore

    From the UNIX command line, type cdsFinder . From the CIW you could type startFinder() or use the listFunctions("regularExpression") function. These are only a quick reference though - you should use cdnshelp or cdsdoc to access the full documentation for each function.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
