Unexpected identifier "A". Expected close parenthesis.

I'm not sure if this is the reason the simulation fail to run. i got this in CIW: *WARNING* (reader): a '(' at line 1 was still unclosed on EOF, ')' added at line 1 of string " .... peak/(1+xt/100))"

In the output log

Error found by spectre during circuit read-in.
ERROR (SFE-874): "input.scs" 17: Unexpected identifier "A". Expected close parenthesis.
ERROR (SFE-683): "input.scs" 17: Badly formed parameters statement.

I have some equation and variable setup. used to be able to run simulation with the above warning message. But now simulation doesnt run, and I got the above error message in the output log file.

It's going to be rather tricky to work this out given that you didn't show what the input netlist looked like (particularly the full error message and also what the input.scs looked like (around line 17 would have helped).

If you can provide more information, that might allow one of us to debug the reason.

    Andrew.
