Defining new display colors

I can dynamically modify display packets with drSetPacket(), but I can't find a way to do the same for color definitions; e.g. a drSetColor() function that lets you change the actual RGB values of a color name. Is there no way to do this without writing out a display.drf file or driving the Edit Display Resources UI?

Why do you want to do this? If you want to dynamically change how layers look in a cellview, it is more efficient to define your colors and packets ahead of time and then swap which packet you want to use dynamically using techSetLPPacketName.
