 Dear sir,

i have a problem in ADE L tool, when i launch the ADE L tool it show the following warning messages in the CIW window,

*warning*(iclic-3) could not get license Analog_Design_Environment_L

 *warning* feature  Analog_Design_Environment_L: Licensing OK.

warning (ADE-5051)  : unable to create simulation session.

*warning* A check out of the Artist Simulation Environment feature failed.

suggestion:[1] check out your license .

[2] Ask acurrnt user of the feature to exit the  Artist Simulation Environment.

please help me,

Advance Thanks...

M.Muthukumar.

    Hi Muthukumar

The message simply means that you do not have any ADE-L licenses. Please contact your IT or CAD administrator to resolve this. It could also be that all existing ADE-L licenses have already been used up. If this is the case, simply request one of your colleagues/friends to shutdown their ADE-L session. : )

    Best regards
    Quek

Look in your home directory (~) in the .cdsenv file (i.e. ~/.cdsenv ). If you hit "never" it will have a line in there:

    license ADEL_UseNextLicense     string  "never"

Edit this file with a text editor, and delete that line, and then re-start virtuoso.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
