Customising menus in Analog Environment - menus not loading

MikePJ

I'm trying to add a custom menu to Analog Environment - I'm following the guidance in Solution 11286092 but the menu file doesn't seem to be being loaded by the system. I know that there's a certain amount of customisation to our local setup, so is there a straightforward way that I can trace what's going on and work out why the spectre.menus file isn't being loaded from ~/menus?

I'm running ICFB 5.10.41_USR5.90.69 and our simulator is SmartSpice.

 Thanks,

 Mike

    Mike,

Why would you expect it to load the spectre.menus file if you're using SmartSpice rather than spectre as your simulator?

I would expect the menus file to be called something different for SmartSpice (I don't know what, since that's a tool from Silvaco, not Cadence).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
