deNewCellView shows 'schematic' and 'layout' views that do not exist

I use  deNewCellView("CAD_test" "dummy" "text" "text" nil) to create a new text view.  It works fine except that "layout" and "schematic" shows up listed under View in the library manager.

There is no "layout" or "schematic" view created nor do "schematic" and "layout" directories exist in UNIX.

Is this a bug with the function or am I doing something wrong.

I am using 6.1.5.500.11.

    Hi mhowell,

I repeated the same steps (for a library with a different name) and I got a text editor ('gvim' in my case, because of my 'editor' preferences) and just the "text" view shows up in the Library Manager.  I added some text, and ":wq" the cell and the LIbrary Manager still only showed the "text" view.  I repeated the test but still only the 'text' view appears in the Library Manager.  Can you try "File -> Close Data" from the CIW, do you see the views listed there? Do you have any custom data triggers that might be adding the other views? [However I can't think how they could appear in the Library Manager but not on disk or in virtual memory]   Is there any Design Management software involved?

    Regards,

    Lawrence.

I deleted the 'ghost' views and now I can't duplicate the issue. All seems to be right with the universe.

Ok, good. It is still strange.  By the way, I used ISR12 for my test.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
