Can pPar pass cyclic's field value from parent?

kb how

Hi,

I'm trying to create a wrapper pcell which required to pass value from parent. Unfortunately i encounter some issue in passing down the value where the cdf field is cyclic with below message:

\w *WARNING* Effective CDF parameter 'LAYER', cell 'scv', library 'myTechLib',
\w >--Value is not one of the specified choices.

May i know is there a way to pPar from parent's value where field is cyclic?

 Thanks in advance.

    Hi Adres,

Is the instance where that i'm trying to set to be pPar("parent") is cyclic, at the primitive level. If this is the case, how can i pass down the pPar("parent") value?

Current my (urgly) workaround is add pPar("parent") as one of the choice in cyclic.
