When I do a techGetSpacingRuleTables(tech) I get duel enteries for my via.

    ("minOppExtension" "MX" "VIAX")

    ("minOppExtension" "MX" "VIAX")

The first is the normal minimum square via. The second if for the bar via. The only difference in these two tables I list below.

    ( minOppExtension "MX" "VIAX"
(( "width" nil nil ) 'cutClass "VIAX" )
            (...))
    ( minOppExtension "MX" "VIAX"
(( "width"   nil  nil  ) 'cutClass "VIAXBAR" )
            (...))

How do I get access to the BAR table?

     techGetSpacingRuleTable(tech "minOppExtension" "MX" "VIAX")

    Only returns the first table.

I don't really have a good example to hand (I'm out of the office at the moment), but you might need to use the "cst" functions to retrieve this. For example, cstFindConstraintGroupIn and then csfFindFirstConstraint. But I'm guessing a bit here.

If that doesn't help, I suggest you log a service request.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
