cdb to oa tranaslation problem

 Hai,

When I translated my designs from old cdb to new oa frormat to ensure compatability with IC6.1 , all contacts are missing in layout  view. Can somebody suggest a solution for this problem? SInce it is difficult for me to manually put the contacts all the layouts, it will be easy for me if anybody suggests a solution.

Thanks in advance,

Nishanth

    Nishanth,

The most likely scenario is that there were errors in the log file when you did the migration which explained the problem. Did you look there?

I'd suggest getting some help from customer support, as it's going to be very hard to help without seeing the data (or at least the log file and the options you used).

    Andrew.

This could happen if you do not have corresponding standard via defs in your IC61 tech library. You may not have write access to the technology library so it cannot create new via defs. You could use the -keepdevicemasters flag during translation (check spelling please) which will translate the cellView masters for the vias.

But, as Andrew said, first look in the log file.
