skillDev not enabled

Hi All,

We have updated the virtuoso tool version from IC614 to 615. We have been getting below warning msgs and errors when we are tring opening SKILL IDE.

*WARNING* skillDev not enabled.

We are getting below error when we did save or load a file in SKILL IDE.

*Error* printstackil: skillDev not enabled.

Please let me know what's the problem.

That sounds as if you can't get a license.

Hi Andrew,
In 614 verision also I am getting same warning msg. I am able to save and load a skill file. But In 615 it strucks for a minite and raises *Error* printstackil: skillDev not enabled in CIW when I save or load a skill file.

Sarvani,

But do you actually have a license for license feature "skillDev" (product 900)? If not, all bets on how it behaves are off - I don't think you can expect it to work at all, and so if it appears to partially work in IC614 then that's probably due to a minor loophole in the license checking.
