When I'm in OCEAN command line mode, when I hit backspace, it shows "^H" on the command line.
"^[[3~" is for delete.
"^[[D" is for left arrow.
And so on.
Is there a solution to this?
I'm using IC 188.8.131.520, and using NX for Windows to work on a remote server.
I searched the forum, and find no others experiencing the same problem.
I had a chat with a colleague in R&D - he said:
From a local xterm, I get the same thing for the arrow keys. Backspace and Delete work properly, but Ctrl+H outputs “^H”.From an xterm in NX, I get the strange characters for Delete but Backspace works properly. So I think this just has to do with how the keyboard is configured.
As I said, the arrow keys is not surprising, since ocean doesn't use readline, but maybe there's some keyboard configuration issue - not sure how you're accessing the tools.
Anyway, as I said, customer support is the best bet.
