how to create via with cut class

Hello,

I am new to skill but i know how to create via, but now I have to create via with cut class like VxLrg and VxBar. I have list of vias and all of them are std vias from the techfile. So, I hope someone could tell me how to create via with this specific situation. I am using dbCreateVia but I have no idea where to put the cut class of this std via in the command.

Thanks

This isn't entirely trivial, but the idea is that you don't actually pass the cutClass to the dbCreateVia - instead you set the appropriate cutWidth and cutHeight parameters to the via, based on having looked them up from the cutClass info in the tech file.

There's not a simple single API to access this info from the tech file - but it can be obtained as described in this solution.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
