How can I flatten a certain list of pcell when GDS stream-out?

Hi,

The stream-out options have flattening of pcell but it applies to all pcell.

Anyway I can set a certain list of pcell to flatten?

 Thanks.

Should probably work with the XStream User Skill File and a foreach loop over the list of desired instances, with "dbFlattenInst".
But you can only do a flattening on instance level not on cell level, means if you have more instacnes of the same cell you have to
specify them all in the list.

Thanks berndfi. I got your idea, but I forgot to add that I want to flatten a sub-pcell of a pcell.

I can't traverse to the hierarchy of a pcell to do the foreach loop in every instances.

Why do you want to do this?

It strikes me that you would be better off doing this in Virtuoso prior to stream out (maybe on a copy of the data in a separate sandbox to avoid corrupting the original).

    Andrew.
