A question on Hardcopy function

Hi everybody,

Does anyone know how to save a plot as a image file(say, .png, .bmp) using OCEAN instead of the menu command in wavescan. I tried the hardcopy function, but got a warning returned. The warning is something like this *WARNING* There were no system .cdsplotinit files found. By the way, is there any other function or command I can use to save a plot as a image apart from the hardcopy(). I appreciate it for your help.

Regards,

Winever.

     In 6.1.5 you could probably use hiWindowSaveImage(), look up the docs orthe finder for the arguments.

    In IC5141, you had to have a .cdsplotinit file to allow the plotting infrastructure - despite the fact that strictly it's not needed for the image creation. So create a dummy ~/.cdsplotinit file:

     Encapsulated PostScript|Encapsulated PostScript: \
            :manufacturer=Adobe: \
            :type=epsf: \
            :resolution#300: \
            :maximumPages#1: \
            :paperSize="5x5 inches" 1500 1500: \
            :paperSize="8x8 inches" 2400 2400: \
            :paperSize="Unlimited" 72000 72000:

    And then you can do:

    hardCopyOptions(?hcOutputFile "./my.png")
    hardCopy()

    Regards,

    Andrew.
