functional view check and save without opening it in a library.

 When I want  check and save a functional view without opening it in a library.

What should I do.

I know that we can do it in schematic using 

   schCheck( d_cvId  )
   dbSave( d_cvId )
   dbClose( d_cvId )

refrence to "DBcheckAndSaveLibSchematics" in 

 www.designers-guide.org/.../YaBB.pl

but for functional view what should I do.

    vmsUpdateCellViews(?lib "libName" ?cell "cellName" ?view "viewName") will do what you want, I think.
