How to stream-out gds with via/pcell name get renamed with prefix only

kb how

Hi.

Is there a way we can stream-out a cell and renamed only the via and pcell with prefixes? Currently virtuoso only allow us to rename the cell with prefix/suffix. Can we add prefix/suffix only for via and pcell during stream-out?

Thanks

Try looking for poParamCellNameMap in cdnshelp - this is the function you can define to map how pcells are named.

I've not  tried this with vias, but according to this solution it should work.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.

    Thanks Adrew.

I found the solution which is using poParamCellNameMap (as as solution mention by you). Tested work.... YEAH! Thanks a lot.

By the way, starting from IC615.ISR14, virtuoso added a new option for to rename -subMasterSeparator, this can be use to rename paramCell as well.

    Thanks
