binding function from a form that keeps changing

Hi,

I bound  the function that displays fin locations to a key. I used the log filter to show what happens when I click the radio button to enable and disable fin locations and bound that function to a key.

this is the function:  sdTrackPatternForm7->trackListing->fin_locations->value =  nil

 

The problem is every time I restart cadence (which is too frequent), the form number changes. It can be sdTrackPatternForm145, or 8 or any other number.

is there a way to bind this independent of the form?

    Which version of the tools are you using? (Help->About in the CIW), and which menu is it that brings up this form? (Just to avoid me having to hunt it down).
