Virtuoso Library Manager Bindkeys

I couldn't seem to find any information on creating bindkeys for the library manager.

Is it possible to use the hiSetBindKey() for library manager callbacks?

If not, is there a private cadence function that could be used?

You can't. You can use accelerator keys (e.g. Alt-V-T to access the View->Tree menu), but the bindkeys that are supported are built-in and are not customizable. There is no private or public function to do this.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

The Library Manager runs in a separate memory space (like stream-in/out and the simulators), so you cannot configure it in the usual ways.

IC Manage demonstrates that it is possible to write your own Library Manager and integrate it with Virtuoso.

That is certianly an interesting idea. Is there documentation somewhere about how to even begin to do that?

Look under doc/itkdbase for the "Integrator's Toolkit Database Reference".

Actually, I think it could also be done using the SKILL ipc interface (in fact, that may be what the real Library Manager is using...).
