Associated schematic to a layout view

Eric L14
Eric L14 over 11 years ago

Hi All,

I open my layout view called "layout2" and I launch Layout-XL, the schematic view called "schematic2" is opened automatically.

What is the skill function to know which schematic view is associated to a layout view ?

Thanks

Regards

Eric

    Eric,

Connectivity->Update->Connectivity Source will tell you. You can also use lxGetLXInfo("srcView" [dbIdOfLayoutView]) - this returns the dbId of the source schematic.

    Andrew.

Just want to mention that for ICADVM20.1, in layout window, it would be Connectivity->Update->Connectivity Reference
