Hi all,

 I have below code in test file

 #! /bin/tcsh -f

set PWD = `pwd`

if ( -d $PWD/cds.lib ) then
else
echo "##################"
echo "Message: cds.lib is file"
echo "##################"
endif

when I am tring to exicute it it by sh("source ./dummy/test") throgh CIW i am getting below error in terminal.

 ./dummy/test: line 6: syntax error near unexpected token `else'
./dummy/test: line 6: `else'

When I am exicute same code in termnal

##################
Message: cds.lib is file
##################

 Please let me know what is the problem.

Thank you,

Chandaka

    That's because sh() runs a Bourne Shell not a csh. Your script is using csh syntax.

    You should either use csh("source ...") or make your script executable and directly do:

    sh("./dummy/test")

    Thanks Andrew. It is working now. But is failing when i am tring to run in batch mode.

     TMP2="source test"
    cid=ipcBeginProcess(TMP2 "" nil nil 'SKILL "ls.log")
    ipcActivateBatch(cid)
    ipcActivateMessages(cid)

     I am getting below error in ls.log

    ./test: line 6: syntax error near unexpected token `else'
    ./test: line 6: `else'

    Looks like it is running in sh(). How can I define TMP2 should be sourced in csh

    Thank you,

    Chandaka

    TMP2="csh -f test"

    or if you really want to source it (don't see the point, personally), then it would be:

    TMP2="csh -f -c 'source test'"

    Andrew.
