 Hi,

Is there any skill functions to automate modgen layout creation.

Please tell how to create modgens using skill.

This is done with various ciCreate functions - take a look in the documentation at ciCreateModgen as a starting point.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi,

Modgens are specified by several constraints, and then these constraints, grouped as a Modgen, are implemented in the layout by VLS-XL actions such as Generate All From Source.  The ciCreateModgen() function that Andrew mentioned (and others) exist in the IC616 and ICADV121 releases, but not in IC615, so hopefully you are using the more recent releases.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.

     Thanks

I am using ICADV12 version. And these are working fine.

Is there any functions to control the routing in a modgen.

I'd suggest you contact customer support. I've not played with these functions myself and don't have the bandwidth to do so right now to familiarize myself with them - so please contact customer support so that an AE can look into this and help  you out.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
