Hi All,

Is any method SKILL to create polygon in symbol with points list?

The points list is got from layout polygon and I want to recreate the polygon in symbol.

I am using IC5141.

Thanks,

Niko

    Hi Niko,

Yes, the command you want is dbCreatePolygon() - you need to pass it the cellview database ID that you are creating the polygon in (geGetEditCellView() can give you this if you are editing the symbol graphically and it is the current cellview). The next argument is the layer-purpose pair that you want to create the polygon on, e.g. list("instance" "drawing"), and the final argument is the list of points for the shape.

    Hopefully this answers your question?

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
