Hi All,

What skill file does the "Layout.toolbars" defined?, and where is it saved ?

because, If I open a layout in IC616, the layout can not open ,

and I got error message in CIW like this :

*Error* hiCreateToolbar: argument for keyword ?title should be a string (type template = "ststlggg") - nil

Best regards,

Marben

If it is a problem only you are seeing, check to see if you are loading a toolbar in your .cdsinit, possibly through loading another file. If others are seeing the problem, it may be a toolbar defined company wide, have CAD look at it.

The Layout.toolbars are in <ICinstDir>/share/cdssetup/dfII/toolbars/byApplication/ but may be other files. From UNIX if you type (in the terminal you start virtuoso) "cdswhich -all dfII/toolbars/byApplication/Layout.toolbars" to see if you have any custom files anywhere. Not sure it would be the Layout.toolbars or SKILL via the .cdsinit instead.

    Hi Andrew, theopaone,
Thanks very much for your reply .
    I can open a layout again by deleting "Layout.toolbars" in <ICinstDir>/share/cdssetup/dfII/toolbars/byApplication .
To use the layout toolbars, I copied the code of Layout.toolbars inside Virtuoso_XL.toolbars . The toolbars display
    is now ok .

    Best regards,
    Marben

    Marben,

That doesn't sound right - you shouldn't delete the Layout.toolbars file from the installation, unless somebody has messed about with the installation. You might want to contact customer support so that this can be investigated properly.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
