Add one group to a synchronous group

How do I add a group to a synchronous group in skill?

Is there a way to force a two or more groups to be synchronized or do I have to copy the group and add to the family?

    Paul,

Not sure this is possible. The synchronization is something that Virtuoso Layout Suite XL takes care of; whilst there are APIs to get the clone figGroup, or to find the other clones, any change to a figGroup (using dbAddFigToFigGroup) destroys the integrity of the clones (and it tells you this).

I think it would need an enhancement request to provide an editing API. So you'd need to contact customer support for that.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Is there any special copy copy functions or options to copy sync group to the non sync group place and delete the non sync group?

    Paul,

Not sure what a "copy copy" function is or what your other question is asking, but the only available functions related to synchronous clones are:

    lxDeleteSynchronousCloneFamily lxGetCloneFamilyName lxGetEditedSyncClone lxGetOtherClonesInFamily lxGetSyncClone
    lxRemoveSynchronousCloneFromFamily lxSetCloneFamilyName lxVerifyCloneFamily

    Regards,

    Andrew.
