on errors caused by using analogLib element delayline

Hi, all

I am using delayline in analogLib to create some ideal delay in my circuit. However, when I run the simulation, it shows

Netlist Error: Could not find netlist procedure:_spectreDelayline instance "I88" in cell-view "Test_delay" "test_1" "schematic"

I am not quite sure how to deal with this problem. Or could someone provide me some other methods to create ideal delay unit for simulation.

Hope someone knows about it. Thanks.

Without doing any checking, my guess is that you're referring to an analogLib from a different IC version than you're using. That's never a good idea, because there may be dependencies on functions that are in the IC release.

Make sure your cds.lib is referring to the analogLib correctly - generally I'd advise using this incantation:

    DEFINE analogLib         $(inst_root_with:tools/dfII/bin/virtuoso)/tools/dfII/etc/cdslib/artist/analogLib

If using IC5141, change the word "virtuoso" in the above to "icfb".

    Regards,

    Andrew
