    Sounds as if you need to write something utilizing lxGenFromSource()?

    Yes Andrew,

    I needed to right this using generate from souce , but if it is already there then it will be very helpful for me.

    i hust need layout to be generated hierarchically instead of dumping all at one level.

    layout dumping should have devices and pins for connectivity, also it should come inside prboundry of its own .

    Dev,

    You'd have to write some code to traverse the design hierarchy, and then working from the bottom up, use lxGenFromSource to build each layout - then higher level gen from source would use the layouts produced by the lower level gen from source.

    I don't have any code to do this - never had a need for such a thing. It wouldn't be difficult to write though.
