Is there anybody know how to use the calculator to get Impedance?

Hi,

I did a AC simulation and I want to measure the impedance between two nodes.

I have AC sources as the inputs to two nets (net 12 and net 10) and the node G of M1 is in that path I want to measure.

So I did :

1. imag(value((VF("/net12")-VF("/net10"))/IF("/I0/M1/G") 1e3 ))

2. imag(value(VF("/net12")-VF("/net10") 1e3) /value(IF("/I0/M1/G") 1e3 ) )

For the first one I tried to do operations on the waveform first and then acquire the value on a specific frequency and then get the imaginary part.

For the second one I tried to get the complex number first and then apply division on Voltage over Current and finally get the imaginary part.

3. In case somebody has knowledge and reaches to this point. I also want to know if it is returning 1/wc for the imag() function or first convert the number to j / (j^2 * w*c), which is -j/wc and then report the -1/wc?

Thanks,

Alex
