Is there a file similar to Layout.toolbars for schematics

I have searched the install directories for toolbar files and did not find anything for schematics

    Hi Paul,

    The Schematic toolbar is in the same location as the other toolbars, i.e.

    <cds_install_dir>share/cdssetup/dfII/toolbars/byApplication/Schematics.toolbars

    Hopefully this will help you?

    Regards,

    Lawrence.

    Thanks for the info.

    Just to confirm a direction for schematic toolbar

    To create my own schematic toolbar, I would create a file Schematics.toolbar and have the syntax below to start the file.

    (
        (
        nil
        inheritToolbarsFrom "Schematics"
        )
     ; Define my own toolbar items

    )

    and place the file in the same place as the Layout.toolbar

    Paul,

    Yes, although I would in general suggest looking at the Toolbar manager in IC616 as this allows you to define the toolbars using "overrides" which are better at handling changes when we update the Cadence toolbars (plus it's a graphical UI to define the toolbars which is quite straightforward).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
