How to remap bindkeys only when a certain command is active.

Hi,

Does anyone know how to remap a bindkey only when a certain command is active. For example my mouse roller button zooms in and out when I roll it up and down but when the move command is active I want to remap it to flip horizontal and flip vertical so how do I do it only when the move command is active.

All the help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Mithun.,

    Hi Mithun,

Yes, you need to append "EF" at the end of the key definition for the bindkey so that it defines a different action while an enter function is active (e.g. Move, Copy etc.).  Something like this:

hiSetBindKey("Schematics" "None" "hiZoomInAtMouse()") ;; e.g. your original definition
    hiSetBindKey("Schematics" "NoneEF" "schHiRotate(?nonmodal t)") ;; rotate during enterfunctions

Something like that (I've not tested the above too much) - you would probably need a different command than the above to perform the rotation.

Hopefully this helps at least to answer your question...

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
