licensing schemes for SKILL code and PDK's

What methods or schemes would you suggest for licensing and controlling the distribution and use of your SKILL code or PDK's to third parties?

Macrovision's FLEXlm provides a standard and accepted means of licensing binaries (C or Java code); however, they do not have a SKILL api.  :-)

Can you suggest or discuss a generic scheme for licensing your SKILL code to others?

Thanks!
