Transient Analysis-plotting frequency vs input voltage

Hi

Using Cadence virtuoso ADE L environment, Is there any way to plot frequency(using calculator) of some output wave in schematic versus input i/ v of schematic (UMC 180 nm technology) in Transient simulation.

Use the freq function in the calculator to plot the instantaneous frequency of the waveform (or use Measurements->Derived Plots in the graph window). If you also plot the voltage or current, you can then use Right Mouse->Y vs Y over the x-axis to change the x-axis to be the signal you wish to be the x-axis.

Alternatively use the waveVsWave function in the calculator (IC6.1.6.500.12 onwards) or if you are using an older version you can type in waveVsWave in the buffer yourself. Search in the forums for waveVsWave because I've answered a similar question in the last week...

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    hello sir,

sir, it can be possible in the combinational circuit we can find the range of frequency of any circuit?? how I identified the range of frequency which the circuit works?? to check one by one frequency is a tedious work?? plz resolve my issue??

Please read Guidelines for the Custom IC SKILL Forum. You're posting on the end of an old thread, with insufficient information as to what  you're trying to do, and probably in the wrong forum altogether.
