Hi,

  I am wondering if any one can help me with a skill code which can  remove all the shape (metal-1) touching contact layer (CA).

I tried boolean function but it did not help.

Thanks in advance .

Regards,

Anil

    Do you only want to affect the metal that is in the same cellView as the contact?

    Code is not tested, use at your own risk.

    First, find all the shapes in the cellView that are on the contact layer:

    contShapes = (car(setof( lpps geGetEditCellView()~>lpps lpps~>layerName == "CA"))~>shapes

    Now, go through the shapes and find the metal overlapping the shape and then delete it.

    foreach( shape contShapes
        metalShapes = dbGetTrueOverlaps( geGetEditCellView() shape~>bBox "metal-1")
        foreach( mShape metalShapes
            dbDeleteObject( mShape )
       )
    )
