Please explain what a Hitkit is. Is it a PDK? There may be some variables set by the PDK or are properties on the PDK library. This varies by the PDK supplier. You may have to contact them to find what information is available.

If you can detect which library is the kit library, use dbGetFullLibPath to get the path to the library directory and then parse that for the installation directory.

Hi Ted, I believe that the HitKit is Austria MicroSystems' (AMS) PDK Regards, Lawrence.

    Richard,

You probably should ask AMS this question, because it depends on understanding of the setup of their design kit. Even if I had access to the AMS Hitkit myself, I'm not sure I could provide this information in a public forum without potentially violating their license agreement/NDA.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
