where to find the tutorial on how to program the skill language?

Hello, all: I can use cdsdoc, although sometime netscape has problem to open. Can anyone tell me where I can the tutorial on how to program the skill language, if I want to want to make a new function. thanks sophia

    I don't know of too many people who are successful at picking up SKILL

    without going to the Cadence training courses ...
    I have never taken a Cadence training course so now u know one person.

    I started with the PDF documentation, but this can be too much information to be useful when starting out. The SKILL Finder tool was very useful because you can search and find the syntax for a function by guessing a keyword in the function name.

    The quickest way to learn SKILL is by looking at good programming examples and trying to solve a problem on your own. After you get the basics down, the documentation and SKILL Finder are very helpful.

    You might also find this text reference useful(mainly for printf and regex):
