how to create "veriloga" view from the "symbol" by skill code

Hi All

Does anyone knows how to create "veriloga" view from a "symbol" by skill script?

Which function should I call?

I know from the GUI, it's quite straight forward: create-->Cellview-->From Cellview.

unfortunately, the log file does not tell the calling function :(

I want to write a script that can create a verilogA-stimuli for the DUT. Currently, I am blocked by creating the veriolga view.

Best Regards

Yi

    Hi All

I just tried it out, below is the function. I assign the value for "_viewType" to indicate that I want to create a veriloga view.

the remaining issue is that it would open a window, which I do not need when running my script.

    deNewCellView(

    t_libName

    t_cellName

    t_viewName

    "text.veriloga"

    g_winSepc

    )

    Hi Yi,

Take a look at Solution Article 11043590 and also Solution Article 11116718.

Hopefully the above will answer your question.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.

    Hi skillUser

Thanks, it's indeed what I am looking for.

The function I found before can only generate the veriloga file, the pin definition is not there.

    Best Regards

    Yi

    What a coincident!!

This post I made 3 years ago gives me the exact solution when I need to create an empty systemVerilog Cell view today.

To find the valid viewType, one method is calling the  _schGetValidViewTypes().
