How to restore cursor location in the Text Editor, after reloading the file?

Hi All

I have written a piece of code, which helps me to generate the content for a veriloga file.

I do it in parallel with an open text editor (Embedded one in Virtuoso 6.1.6.500.13.2).

The problem is that, after I generate the content by my code, the file needs to be reloaded in the text editor, then the cursor has been moved to the beginning of the file. It's quite annoying.

Does anyone know how to restore the location of cursor, after reloading the modified file?

Best Regards

Yi

It appears that the SKILL API to interact with the text editor are all private functions. I did find a couple of private functions to do this, but I don't want to reveal those here - I need to file a CCR on your behalf to ask for public equivalents. At the moment there doesn't seem to be any request for public text editor functions.

So please log a case with customer support and ask the AE who picks it up to contact me. Or post the case number here.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
