Mark net in IC61

when i  mark  a  net  in  virtuoso in  IC61,  it  also highlight  the  gate  of a  mos which  the  net connect  to . This   is  difficult to   find out   what I need because   it highlights too  many .  how   to  fix it ? Thanks!

    I suspect you're talking about it tracing underneath the gate (i.e. seeing the source and drain connected) which is a matter of setting up the stop layers properly. Otherwise I'm not sure what the problem with highlighting gates would be if they're actually connected to the net.

    Maybe you could post a picture showing what you mean? Otherwise we may be trying to solve a different problem from the one you're trying to describe?
