Export CDL netlist!

Hi,

I have a circuit that is modeled hierarchy as below:

I have a top level that includes 2 subcircuit  "SUB_1 and SUB_2", in each that subcircuit, I instance 1 cell name with the same name for both cell name "CELL_1"  and instance name "XI0". cell name "CELL_1" has 2 views "schematic_1 and schematic_2".

I want to export CDL netlist with requirement: CELL_1 in SUB_1 with schematic_1 and CELL_1 in SUB_2 with schematic_2.

I know that when defining cdlSwitchview, we only switch 1 view at the same time for 1 specified cell.

Is there any way to do as my situation?

Regards,

Tan Nguyen

    Tan,

Create a config view (using the Hierarchy Editor) and then you can control which switch view is used for different instances in different cells. Then if you netlist with the config view being the top level in the CDL netlister, it would use the rules defined in the config view instead.

This allows much more flexibility than just the fixed switch and stop lists that are normally used.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
