Transform Text label/pins from any given level to top level

Hi Andrew,

In one case of my code, I need to transform all labels and pins from any given level[0 to 32]  to top level. I will specify the level. May be a function look like this

TopLevelCellId=geGetEditCellView()

label/Pin_Properties_ Tranformed_List = GetMyLabelPinTransformation(TopLevelCellId  Level)  ;Level is a variable which I will specify like 0 to 32.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

    Take a look at this solution (it's not what you want, but it's a reasonable starting point):

    You'd need to adapt it to only flatten the labels and pins by checking the objType for each object and whether something is a pin (look at ~>pin for each object) before flattening. Also you presumably don't need the merge bit at the end.

    The code has the benefit of dealing with mosaics correctly (arrays) which is one of the things that can be challenging to get right.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
