Edit in place to specific instance

Is there a function to go to a specific instance with edit in place in layout.

If several instances overlap at the same point, I want to go to a specific cell to edit shapes/vias/pins.

    Hi Fari,

    I checked, and product engineering have said that this should be documented (I filed CCR 2319210 to make it public and documented). To enable it, you can use:

    envSetVal("layout" "descendEIPPopupSelectionWindow" 'cyclic "fullform")

    You can also use "shortform" as an alternative - this gives a smaller form with a bit less information. The default is "off" (there's one other choice "highlightedobject" but I don't think that's what you want).
