    Lior is correct that this is hard to do, especially if you do not have a strict naming policy for your functions and variables as was pointed out. To 'undefine' a function you can use putd('funcName nil), and to 'undefine' a variable you can set it to the special value of 'unbound, e.g.

    a=5 => 5

    a='unbound => unbound

    a => *Error* toplevel: undefined variable - a

    You can use the functions listVariables() and listFunctions() to help identify functions and variables that match a simple regular expression.

    Hopefully this will help you a little?

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
